I am very limited in my computer knowledge and have no interest in learning more as I have far too many serious books to read, mountains to explore and guns to shoot, not to mention trying to maintain the Canadian culture that so many of my people bled and died for in the 20thC. alone.

So, my question to the learned computer folks here is WTF is "hacking" and HOW can some 15 yr. old punk kid damage a site like this one? Obviously, this is a major concern and I am just curious as to what can/could be done to prevent this in future?

There is SO little inter-communication among genuine Canadian gun people, that is not utterly riddled with infantile, "militia groupie" drivel about "black guns" and totally false comments about Canadian history, that I would hate to see this site damaged by some little badazz. When I was 15, computers were a military and "spacerace" mystery AND if a kid had DARED to do something like this, well, my old man just would get his piece of hockey stick or garden hose and you LEARNED....'course, compared with what they had seen in France, Italy, the North Atlantic, etc., even that was pretty minor...and you DID learn!

Too much false liberalism and pampering of kids now and the frequent killings and assaults upon innocent people, as in the female bus driver in Port Moody, reported on Global TV a couple hours ago, are the result. I remember a Canada and a Vancouver, where guns were as commonplace as jackknives and shootings as rare as honest politicians....NOW, a politician with a background in communist activities CAN and IS attempting to disarm ALL Canadians and he was not even born here.

To quote a fabulous Cree folksinger, Buffy St. Marie, "my country, 'tis of thy people, you're dying"....food for thought, eh?
