Very sad indeed. It is one of those never should have happened. I know the area. It is prone to morning fog. I was taught and I still teach identify your target 100% before you squeeze that trigger and send one down range. Once it is gone it can never come back or be stopped. Even though not mentioned in the article, I am wondering on what color clothing the lady was wearing. All to often I see non hunters wearing black in the bush during hunting season. I now that black is very fashionable but leave it at home. I once had a jogger run towards me down a game trail wearing a mid tone brown jogging suit during hunting season complete with a matching knit cap. I let one loose in the ground as he went by, scaring the bloody s@#t (he jumped about 3' high and sideways) out him  . I berated him like all beat hell and that he had every right to be dead for wearing what he had on. He thanked me for not killing him and stripped to his skivies and went home which was about 12 miles away .
