Mucky ATV Trail (Vid)

I've been pretty busy lately, Prospecting, Fishing, Jetboating, Music Festivals, ect. This is a little clip from a fishing trip we just made it back from. Mostly just the access trail into a small Northern Trophy Fishing Lake. We ended up with too much gear and people, and so had to bring a quad with us. My wife had the job of bringing the bike back out to the truck. I made a special trip out the day before too bring the extra people out (one of whome is a member that I met here). Anyway, if you are into the whole ATV thing, then I think you will enjoy this little vid.

Kyle,

Once again the wife and I had an awsome time up your way, from the sheep hunt, the buffalo hunt, the quad ride (let me say folks the vid does not do this muddy mess justice! ) the fishing, and the cabin stay....all first class and great company!
I look forward to you PEELING yourself away from FN to come down here for some fishing and boating fun!
Talk soon!

Glad you enjoyed the clip

The paddles are called "Mudslingers", Made by Quadivator.
I got this set about 10yrs ago, from a friend. They were a Demo Set, and so I got them for 1/2 price. (This was back when the were first introduced)

I understand that they are quite expensive now, but have not looked myself.
I am the only person that I know of that has a set.
They are a great conversation starter
They have proven to be very durable. Some of the paddles are finally damage and could tear off at any time now (But this is the 3rd set of tires to that set of Slingers)

They DO make a big differance under the conditions I ride in (Swamp and Muskeg). I have been able to pull trailers through places where other bikes are getting stuck.

Downside: As the mud thickens, it can really bog you down.
Don't even think of staying clean with these things on your bike, they throw SH&# EVERYWHERE.
They widen the bike and can hang you up in the brush.
They make riding in standard width quad rutts into HELL

So anyway, yes they make a differance, but I like them more for the novelty and the reactions of people when they see them.

You know, these fantastic videos you put up RockDoctor really don't do justice to the terrain....I spent last week in Fort Nelson flying over and atving some of this area, and I must say...Wow. Nice area you live in.
