The FACTS concerning the Komagata Maru are VERY different from what the professional ethnics among the Sikhs here in Canada and the leftist media would have people believe. This WAS a SPY SHIP and the organizer of this voyage WAS a hardcore agitator and terrorist in India, who insisted that, while HE and his fellow Sikhs had the RIGHT to enter any British Dominion, they were NOT British subjects.....things haven't changed much, eh?

The Sikhs SHOT a police officer in the back, while he was simply doing his duty and SINCE THEN, a picture of this cowardly murderer, "Mewa Singh"has been displayed above the main door of the Ross St. Temple in Vancouver....Canadian politicians frequently suckhole for votes under this photo, makes ya REAL proud, eh?

So, while the ELECTED representatives of the Canadian people enacted immigration legislation DUE TO PUBLIC DEMAND AT THE TIME, that restricted certain types of immigration, those criminal Sikhs, who WERE assisting the Kaiser's war machine, which killed over 60,000 Canadians, remember, decided that THEY had the RIGHT to decide what Canadian laws they would and would not obey.......seems like things were much as they are now.

If, anyone doubts my points here, I can and will supply precise historical references and you can read the TRUE historical facts for yourself. Am I a "racist", no and it is a meaningless term in today's world, anyway; I AM a "culturalist" and have every right to be.

Canada has become a haven for Sikh, Tamil, Muslim and other terrorists and we have EVERY right to change our immigration and other laws to protect ourselves from this totally un-warranted situation. John Diefenbaker started this and Pierre Trudeau worsened it; I think that the generation under 40 should modify our laws BEFORE things get even worse.

I do not think that 7STW's or my statements are "racist" and trust that Cariboo can/will see that our concerns are not based on mindless hatred, but, on recognition of what is happening in our nation.

As to Harper and his various "apologies", well, it is HARDER to buy a handgun and NO easier to buy a rifle/shotgun under him than under the Lieberals, so, I have no bloody intention of voting for the pusillanimous, phoney, power-hungry Yankee lover, never did trust him since he voted for gun control while one of Mannning's boys.

Funny how as Canadian history is NOT taught in our pathetic school system, we seem to see more and more of these false claims for supposedly violated "rights"........

Traditional Canadian culture, as many of us knew growing up, may be gone forever, sadly. I believe Trudeau was the instigator, at least that seemed to be the beginning of the true downfall of our historic culture's. Now I know that Canada's population is all made up of immigrants, (even the natives originally immigrated here), so I don't need to be reminded of that point.

In my mind, our historic Canadian culture stemmed from the UK, and European
immigrants, who had basic Christian values, and morals. Even the small population of let's say, "visable minority's", that imigrated early to Canada accepted, and adopted the values we had formed. Many of them fought for those same values, along side our UK and European immigrant citizens. Although their cultures were different, they didn't ram them down the throats of others, as it seems to be popular to do, with the new generation of immigrants.

As the population of new immigrants continue to grow, and more politicians of their cultures are voted in by them, we will continue to see erosion of our heritage traditions. The lobbying of some of those politicians, has already made some changes to our lives, and laws.

Many liberal leaning Canadians, usually of the new generation, have grown up with many of the changes to our culture already in place. They have never known otherwise, so continue to support the changes that the loud minority's demand. Political Correctness is now required. Even the politicians who want to speak up about the changes being forced upon us, are afraid to do so. It's like having an elephant in the living room, but nobody can speak of it. Fear of being called, or accused as a racist, or of fear/hate mongering, has even silenced the already silent majority even further.

Whatever you do, don't talk about the elephant!

God Save Our Land...

Immigrants

In my opinion, why should current politicians appologize for previous cabnets issues from the past...and then get slapped in the face as NOT ACCEPTING an apology.

As rifleman said. Our Canada as I knew it will never be the same. New Immigrants changed our Canadian lifestyle starting years ago and what first comes to mind for me is with a member of the RCMP being able wear his turban. Then it was to carry a TRADITIONAL Knife....who's tradition-NOT CANADIAN. Well and now you can't say MERRY CHRISTMAS, Lord's Prayer not said at the schools anymore. I'm not against one's religious beliefs and do not consider myself a racist in any such way. But you come to OUR country wanting a better life than what you had at home. You get subsidized by my tax dollars b/c you have no $$$$, and then get federal govt jobs...I better stop or I'll rant for ever.

Yes I kow immigrants come to Canada in the early years and made Canada what it was . Now too much POLITICAL BS all for the mighty vote to be in power- TOO SCARED TO ROCK the BOAT due to my HUMAN RIGHTS being violated. Your laws in your country are not Canadian laws.

Sorry mods. Just couldnt stay away from this topic.

Sadly, most immigrants seem to conveniently forget what made our Canada such a desirable place to come to in the first place. Once they remove that and replace it with their imported customs, etc., they, along with traditional Canadians are back to what they had before.
