Talking Toilet seat stand?

Getting ready for our Moose trip ( only 14 more sleeps!!! ) and we were discussing our toilet arrangements. In the past we have used a 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut out to hold a toilet seat up. The chalenge with that is we need to keep the hole in the ground small so the bucket doesn't sink in and it is also not particularly stable.

One time I saw someone had plans to build a folding box out of plywood that is light, sturdy and doesn't take up much room. Figured with all the inovative people on this site someone might have plans or pictures of what works for them.

I was almost afraid to post this as I am sure there will be a fair number of "tongue in cheek" comments. Feel free to "blast" away.....

Can some one help us with this Sh177y problem?

Get a wooden chair and a toilet seat. Mark the toilet seat hole and cut it out with a jigsaw. Voila. Firewood or 2 x4 will keep the legs from sinking into the ground. Cut the chair back off to save space. If you want serious comfort, shape a piece of blue styro into a toilet seat. No more cold bum.

Thanks guys.
Bowsup - Thought about a wooden chair but was hoping to have it fold up. Your right, the blue styro is like luxury out there.

Wolffie - I remember when that hitch setup hit the forum before. FUNNY! Think we'll go a little more down to earth. On our moose trip we don't go up to my Brother's place but further west in the caraboo to 5-3. Might hit his place to do the youth hunt with my son again in October.

Honda450 - I was thinking about the lawnchair one but hadn't tried it yet.

My bro's got one of the plywood ones He built it prolly 20 yrs. ago and it's still in good shape. Every coupla yrs. he gives it another coat of paint and it looks like new. I'll ask him where he got the plans for it. It folds down to about 20"X20"X3" K

Shack - Love that "green" toilet!
F350PS - That would be great if he has the plans. That's what I'm looking for.
Only 4 more sleeps till the Moose trip so this year we will will likely have to continue with the bucket seat. Might get creative with some lashing to make things more stable.
