Ice Off

Got this from another site. About a week old.

BC Interior Lakes Fishing Reports
In this last week we saw Six Mile, Sawmill, White, Nicola, Morgan and Barnes ice off. We heard reports of smaller but very chrome and fat fish coming out of Six Mile. Expect Stump Lake and Jacko Lake to be off for May 1st. Tunkwa Lake and the surrounding area is still in the grip of winter. Rumors that Roche will not be ready by May 1st just might become a reality.

I also heard Tunkwa and leighton were in good shape. Good oxygen level in the lakes and a good winter survival expected.

Was at Beaverdam a couple weeks ago & there was still plenty of ice. A little thin around the edges but good enough to walk on. Winterkill is not an issue as plenty of fish were caught this year right through.
