first off, RIP old Chopper...

Well we had a good weekend, 4 bear chases and 3 bears up.


here is the first bear, he ran his ass off and wouldnt stay up the tree!!! 4 trees to eventually stay up. Great training for the young hounds.

after walking off the bear came down and a loose hound started it up again so we dumped them again

Rip Chopper sorry to hear about him getting mauled.

Some really good videos, I didn't realize just how stong those hounds are untill you see them dragging the bear along the ground.

my buddy is upset as anyone would be, its to bad he died but he died in the bush doing what he loved to to-hunt. Thats the way i'd wanna go...

Nice pics Danny. This wasnt near Duffy lake near Kamloops was it? I had a couple hounds that looks similar to the lighter brown one and one of the black and tan colored ones chase a bear right thru a block i was working on...it was cool to see!
