Maybe Moose up north in two weeks, IF, my buddie's work schedule does not screw up our plans.

However, GROUSE open Sept. 1st. at home in the Kootenays and I will be trying out my Browning Mod. 42-.410 and will be scouting for my Elk LEH, at the same time.

The Elk open Sept. 10 and I will be on top of a certain ridge by early afternoon of the 9th. I expect to put my major effort into the Elk, as that is my favourite animal to hunt.

I also have a Goat LEH and will take a look at that, I would like to get one real hawg, but, it is a tough climb and the Goats are not very numerous in the specific area I drew. So, it is a "fall-back" to the Elk.

Nice porker! I would love to be able to shoot a couple of those each year to add to our sausage!

Black bear on the 15th then deer. I tried rabbit for the first time last night and only saw a few moose. But I discovered that Saskatoon berries are out in force north of PG.
