Starting to think about a trip to Tanzania in Fall 2007--any advise on where to get my hands on a reasonably priced 375 H&H would be much appreciated!!!

How'd you like a Sako Hunter 75 in .416 Rem Mag, 1.5 - 5 Luepold VX-III. It's trained for buff, also knows its way around bears.

I looked at a BRNO in wholesale Sports in Calgary this weekend in 375--looked like good value at under $1000--any experience or opinions out there??

You can absolutely do better than a thousand bucks for a very good quality used rifle chambered for .375 H&H. I have sold two in the past couple years, both for well below that - and one was a custom gun with a Circassian walnut stock.

If you are not already also a member at Canadian Gun Nutz (www.canadiangunnutz.com) I suggest you may wish to join up and keep an eye on the "Exchange of Hunting and Sporting Arms" forum. .375s come up fairly often, and some of them are excellent bargains. I recall a Browning Stainless Stalker that went by about a year ago for around $700, for example.

Guys (like me), who have no earthly use for a rifle chambered for such a cartridge, buy them, shoot them a bit, and decide to send them on their way.
