Wink

A small word of advice from somebody who has owned a few dozen BLRs........they are NOT all created equal, and almost nobody likes each style equally either. The original BLR is quite different from the Model 81, and the Lightweights are a different breed again. Straight stocks and pistol grips handle differently, and the same goes for lever design. Finally, the long action BLRs (.30-06 and such) are in my personal view ungainly and "klunky."

So if a person is looking to buy a BLR, he or she wants to test-drive a few models first to see which one fits and which one will be preferred.

Free advice, worth what you paid for it..............

Doug
